I first want to say the devs have been doing an outstanding job with this game, each update has new exciting content and I look forward to playing this game in the many months ahead to see what else they'll come up with and release.
Unfortunately the new matchmaker fix from what I've experienced makes this game feel empty and that it is truly dying
Just today my matches were
12 vs 3
7vs 4
12 vs 13
13 vs 11
These matches are boring.
They have plenty of noobs getting stomped on uneven sides
The worst thing about it, why it really needs to go despite all the stats and numbers and spreadsheets and all the evidence that you can present forth to prove your case:
THIS IS CREATING A PERCEPTION THAT THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE PLAYING THE GAME
Whether people are leaving this game or not, this perception is going to exacerbate the problem, and I can only imagine losing MORE players FASTER because of this game feeling like it's trending downwards
Despite all the negative press and uphill battles vs next gen "AAA" this game defies the odds and I want to see it continue on to give CCP and EvE Online players and the rest of the FPS community the middle finger

I have made this case several times, but hey... if it shuts down then they can just work on the port exclusively!!!

I think they are finally considering my recommendation to make the pre-fight warbarge where people sit while they assemble a 16v16 fight outside of PC. Then we can see some real balancing in our hands. Yes, some people would get rolled in that mode. That is why I want to see it in FW. PC outside of district flipping.
I see 6 Molon Lab, I call up my buddies from FA. I kind of liked the days of the PFC PC because fights were arranged almost every 30 minutes and channels for ringers popped up everywhere. No one cared who held what district, you just needed someone to Ferry you in and you had to be skilled or got the boot.
With the team chat gone, we need to really start leveraging the squad finder!
