Hello there fellow merc. Quick question, are you all using the commando dropsuit to its fullest and what i mean by this is the melee bonus that the commando have or am i just using it wrongly....
Anyway, Im bringging this topic up cause during a match SC (Shotgun Cloaker) was trying to to R4p3 me with its shotgun from the front by jumpity jump his way to me and just as he land i manage to kill it by melee it. When that happen, i repeat the process. 3/5 time it work.
Moreover, here are the spec to my Commando Dropsuit :
Commando Dropsuit
Enhance Weapon Mod X2
Rail Rifle
Advance Swarm Launcher ( LOL forgot the name )
Nanohive
Enhance Reactive Plates
Lastly, Can anyone recommend me some good spec for an AV dropsuit thats uses the commando dropsuit

Stack kin cats, cardiac regs and myofibs so you can go around falcon punching everyone. You'll die pretty quickley, but it's hilarious. Works surprisingly well on a galmado with PLC and breach AR.
We want cake and tea.

Galmando is definitely a recommendation I would make, that or the Minmando. Both have devastating AV bonuses.
Calmando is for sniping which is less than fun and damaging to the team. Amarr just completely lacks specialized AV capability, and is too slow.

Galmando. Run 1x Complex Plate, 2x Reps and 2x Damage mods.
Pack an AR and Shotgun. Get up in there and ruin peoples days.
My favorite though: Minmando. 1x Complex Shield, 1x Complex Energizer. 1x Complex Kincat, 1x Complex Regulator.
CR, AMD, Nanohives. Mobile area suppression platform with surprising speed and regen.
EDIT: OH AV.
Minmando: 2x Damage mods, 2x Reps. Swarms and CR.
Galmando: 2x Damage mods, 2x Reps, 1x plate. PLC and AR.
Damage damage damage. You have high base health and open high slots. Use them.
