So I spawned MCC, and got black screen. When I eventually spawned I had no HUD, no gun, radar, nothing. I also couldn't sprint, and when I jumped there was zero headshake.
Zero headshake! It felt great! So smooth, I thought I was playing Halo 1 (until my stamina ran out and I could only jump 5 cm, which is silly) but other than that it felt much better.
Let's take out the head shake for tiny jumps and falls. Leave it in for sprint jumps only to emphasize the bigness of sprint jumps. It only serves to make this game feel clunky.
Give your heads a shake.

I have a solution for that glitch, though some of it may be unnecessary
Move in any direction and jump, immediately press start and start to mash it so that as soon as I get into the map I'll go back out again. Every time I do this it always become like what you described -no HUD can't sprint etc- and to solve that, just go to a supply depot (which you should be near to considering that I only encounter this at the starting spawn) and change to any fit.
Do note that you have to mash start. If you do not immediately go back from the map the black screen will still be there.
Not sure if there's any significance in moving and jumping, but I always do it.
Well you can just commit suicide and respawn, but I doubt you would want to do that if you're using an expensive suit. |
