It should cost no isk to attack, have a max clone setting and pay no isk whatsoever. Maybe get to keep salvaged from killed enemies but that's it(and it's a maybe)
The purpose would be to allow corps to have friendly battles with each other and to allow newer members to train with their corp.
I got the idea when I posted in Clone D's thread about wanting to have mlt only battles.

I agree.
My idea would to have training grounds which could be rented. A corp can pay to rent a certain map for a period of time. Say, 5 million per hour. Corp directors would have admin powers. Assets lost in training would be lost permanently, so training would likely be in MLT gear.
It would be a good ISK sink, be good for PC training, and provide a reason to have corp taxes besides clone packs.

Mlt only battles would be amazing, i feel like this renting thing could get exploited however.

I'm all for mlt only battles tho, as long as they pay no isk, or salvage. Sp should stick, however. Maybe instead of renting, just make it public AND give player corps that have districts one by default for private friendly matches. The renting part and having players running it is what is throwing me off a bit.
Which Faction am I loyal to, you ask? The real question is, which one is paying the most?

Yeah, the whole idea here was to find a work around to get corp battles back in. Some mlt only corp battles would be a refresashing change of pace.

Id say property should be bought for about 10 to 20 mill have no cost to keep or isk payouts of any kind but gear lost is returned at end of battle this would make for great training grounds to practice new tactics testing for new gear and would be awesome. Make so it can be sold back for a lil less back so people wont abuse it for server purposes

Pros:
Being able to challenge another corp to a battle like in the olden days.
Allow you to have training matches for newer players or those unfamiliar with PCs.
Allows corps to have events, tourneys or other wacky thing the current system doesn't allow(All mlt, demolition durby, foot race, free for all)
Possible to make some cool videos for dust.
Allows people to have a testing ground for weapons, fits and vehicles. Will also possibly allow people to test if weapons and things are functioning as intended.
Cons:
Only corps will be able to use them. So lone mercs may be left out in the dust(no pun intended)
^solution: have NPC corps have a bunch of high sec districts that allow for training.
People in corps would have access to a training district.
^Solution:Set up and ask the corp leader if he can set something for test. Or introduce a training arena that acts as a dojo of sorts that would allow you and up to 5 other people in to practice(seems like that won't ever happen though)

What if instead of getting districts involved, a CEO above a certain level in the corporate skill could set up matches in special contracts?
You could make them public or private, maybe set the numbers like 8 vs 8 etc, choose your map, mode, and FF.
This would give you more flexibility for training among other things without having to get districts into the mix.
How feasible the idea is is a whole other question though.

Honestly, this would be ideal and the perfect way to go about it.
However.
The reason I suggested we go about it with the whole district thing is because CCP can't figure out how to code corp battles back into the game. So this is meant to be a kind of work around to that problem.
