If they nerf ScR, modded controllers still work on all those weapons.

The laser rifle is more funny than anything. The Tac Sniper Rifle is pretty damn powerful with Modded Controller. IT resets to the same position after every shot. Hit rapid fire button, fire, 3 shots off instantly.

It isn't hard to reach the cap for the Ion Pistol. I over sample all the time.

Unless your goal is to get a fix for Turbo controllers/ Modded controllers,,,then just give up now. That battle is 3 years old, as I am sure you are aware. Turbo/modded works on Tac Ar's Scr Rifles and pistols Ion Pistols Shotguns ,,,turns every shot gun into a Bons style Sniper Rifles Both Combat Rifles All Burst Ar's Turns Lazors into Crazy looking scramblerish types Am I forgetting any? I see no benefit in using one with a sniper rifle. And didn't scramblers have their RoF cut when ion pistols were added? Rule 34.6.1: every parody will have a crossover

I used a turbo PS2 controller on dogs life earlier, it was great forcing the poor sod to bark at 500bps (barks per second!!)
