If they actually interacted in game with the community.. they would not have a problem here
example, CCP DEV gets in squad with some mercs, plays a battle, looks for another squad,
he would be treated like a VIP and have more logis than NAMELESS III running ambush 
Along with seeing first hand, how different squads look at the game, and their angle on fighting battles
If the Devs really run about solo when they do play, that explains some of the really bad choices made sometimes 
GM Archduke joined us for 'Plasma Carnage' events about a year ago, where we were qsyncing FW battling each other with PLCs, some laser battles were had also, some really fun content and the players involved appreciated CCPs interaction.
not sure if he was in the video 'Plasma Carnage' by Gaming Freek on YT, but there were a number of syncs not all recorded
