The Kalante
has
37.39 damage
895.52 ROF
56.56 accuracy
80 clip / magazine
400 Max Ammo
Why don't you make Meta 7 variants with Douville base data?
34 damage
800 ROF
56.70 accuracy
70 clip / magazine
350 Max Ammo
So increase one variable up a level
34 damage
895.52 ROF
56.70 accuracy
70 clip / magazine
350 Max Ammo
And so on. This would give you five new variants, one damage, one speed, one accuracy, one clip / magazine size, one max ammo size. Make them all meta 6 or 7.
This puts them somewhere between Advanced and Proto level and gives folks lower down the "food" chain some weapons to "shoot" for.
Maybe try this with Assault Combat Rifles or Rail Rifles as well. Again, keep 4 of the 5 categories the same, only change the 1 variable and leave the others alone.
Maybe just give them away as prizes or salvage, or say 3 / 5 at a time from the experimental lab. Advanced AR 1, has more damage, Advanced AR 2 higher ROF, etc. There are so many AR variants already, maybe do this with every other type of rifle, but AR's.

ARs are getting a buff in raw damage soon. Rattati already confirmed it.
I just hope this doesn't push things into OP territory.

Ewww, I had always thought the guns damage ended at weird places and that its damage projection was 'off' somehow though. I hope to not see more cal assaults with AR's running around.
Do you have a link to his confirmation or a summary of his proposal?

I don't know, it's somewhere in one of the stickied threads about either ehp or the Logistics I believe.
It's not in the main OP but it's in the comments I believe.
