I almost forgot how much I missed running around in an Amarr scout, then I also realized that's all its good for and nothing else and promptly switch back to the superior matar scout/assault
Expect more of these threads!

I gotta admit, I pretty much never see Amarr scouts. I don't know why, I don't enjoy dressing up like a gay supermodel. So I don't know the difference between the scouts. Why aren't they more used? Why they broken?

The Amarr scout has a bonus to scan precision. After scan range was changed from absolute scan range to close/med/far scan range it effectively halved the radius of the useful precision level of their scans, yielding 1/4 of the previous potential of information on TACNET. They immediately became obsolete and have not been touched since. |

Right you are buddy. If only they actually put enough effort as they do into balancing everything else as they do into battlefield roles then maybe we could of saved the Amarr scout :(

I'm still not sure about how all the scout stuff works, but I'm in favor of changes being made, like this. Dealing with Cal shield issues right now

It's slower than MinAss with a currently useless bonus due to aforementioned tacnet changes and the massive range amp nerf. I have proto on my Amarr char and it just makes me sad every time I run him.
