Meh, didn't used to be like this, there used to be plenty of other corps around willing to spend 1mil or so on mercs that did more then just help win a game.
But the lack of new talent is leading to the very concept the game to be built around to be pointless. Mercenaries, shesh. |

Yeah,,I can totally understand that. But just the other nite I swore I heard a NF member talking about launching attacks along with 0H and Cap Aq. He just didnt have the bawls to do it. Or the roles. The last joke was trying to buy him and his corps loyalty in the mass attacks that the Last joke was about to send against 0H and Cap. It was quite a conversation.

When no one is paying you to defend or attack, you give them a reason to pay.
Problem is with the old NF model is it's centered around everyone still earning a good flow of ISK to throw our way. With how PC is currently, the model NF is based on no longer works.
Evolving the process to suit the new meta-game has proven to be a step-backwoods in organization and bringing a community together. The incentives that brought groups like NF together is completely gone - replaced with nothing to motivate players to do more or aim for higher.
So it all boils down to **** measuring contests and who can do what better individually. Teams are actually formed so that certain players can maintain there **** wagging.
The NF we used to know is still here, guided by the same people, but until CCP fixes incentive to be more, do more, it wouldn't surprise me if NF decided to go hay-wire on everyone.
It would honestly be good for the game if a group did step up and try for 100% right now. |
