This is more of an argument as to why SKINs are comparatively cheap right now and you guys should -totally- be driving the prices up on them in trading.
The value of Aurum for Dust 514 and the value for Eve Online are completely different, as is ISK. Right now you can trade SKINs, the going rate being around 30m+ ISK in Dust 514.
Now, in Eve Online, you can purchase a PLEX card and net yourself about 750 - 850m ISK with about $20. Whereas in Dust 514, that same $20 will get you about 43,000 Aurum.
That's two SKINs.
Assuming you were to use a third-party currency exchange (taking the risk of course) between Eve Online and Dust 514 currency, and we assume a worst case scenario of 10:1 ratio (I think the last one I used was a ratio of 8:1?) ... 850m ISK would get you 85m ISK in Dust 514. That's almost three SKINs.
So right now it's actually more efficient on your wallet to buy a PLEX in Eve, go through the currency exchange, and purchase the SKINs from someone who already has them in Dust 514.
Just a thought.

The problem is that the rates for Eve to Dust are bad since passive ISK in PC was removed

I have some pirate skins I am waiting to sell. I put them in the player trading at 30 mill a piece or both for 50 and had them "sold" in a matter of hours. Right now supply and demand favors the seller because they are limited. However, there isn't really a set price either.
On that, when are we getting the next update on sellables? Things seem to be going smooth with no major issues. I think it is about time to open it up some more and allow at least pirate skins and Omega boosters to be sold.
