Not very often does this happen, but sometimes when turning on a damage mod, I cannot fire my turret until selecting the same mod again.

Been around for years. No fix in sight.
On large turrets:
- They will occasionally not fire regardless of damage mod activation. - They will fire by themselves and empty the clip. Overheating rail and blasters. - They will fire but will do no damage, although it doesn't use ammo it does cost tanks. - Missile turrets will autofire occasionally. After the first clip they will routinely fail to auto-fire from then on.
On small turrets:
- The missile turrets first round(s) fire in random directions. - The track from the small turret is inconsistent with the location of the turret, the speed of the vehicle and the barrel of said turret. - Are incredibly slow to rotate even though the turret is merely the weapon itself.
No fixes in sight as these bugs have never actually been admitted to or acknowledged by CCP.
Have fun.

Here is a fun one I ran into last night.
IOC on a Maddy. Just circling a socket with scanners and picking off any that linger too long. Letting the Blues know where the Reds are sneaking or massing. No Red tanks and the map comes sans any tank targets.
There is a supply depot and it is Red. So I unleash the Ion Cannon and stop with 50 remaining in the clip (non-tankers, standard without heat sink maximum before overheating). The next round will not fire. The number 50 remains regardless of tapping, holding or swearing.
I reload. And it repeats again! Again a reload and again the failure. So I fire ~10 rounds and let it cool down back down. Completely, then I fire 25 rounds and it works. Same thing happened once again that same match, but the above workaround got it back in action.
There is no possibility that this will be fixed.

I think the glitch happens when you try and fire at the same time you activate a mod...

Hey, stop! Its overheating, great now its overheated! Quit shooting! Oh, now your empty and we have to cool back down before we can put any bullets in the gun you just emptied.
It seems like Scotty jumps into the tank with you.
