This sounds so wrong but its actually true. I can for example put 2 precision enhancers on a assault suit and get a long range scan precision of ~35DB (long range= 30m with all skills to V). But on the flipside if i put 2 range amplifiers on i get a long range scan of 37m but with a horrible precision of 52DB for long, 40,5DB for medium and 20,25DB for short range. The only suit that has a scan profile of over 50DB are commandos and heavys.
So with a armor tanked suit and precision enhancers i can pick people up more reliable then a shield tanked suit with range amplifiers. We are talking here about the same Passive scan range of 30m. The armor tanked suit picks everything up except scouts while the shield tanked suit only is capable to see heavys at that range. So basically Precision enhancers>range amplifiers if you want to rely on your assault/logi passive scans.

Good point.
Maybe range amps should increase the inner circle by a considerable margin. That wouldn't be too broken, right?

True, range amps are strong contenders for most useless low slot module at the moment. Even rivaling Militia Cardiac Stimulant Blueprint ;-)
