What about connecting LAN cable to router? I done that and i dont have any problems with connectivity

Bro, run a cat5 to your router or pay someone else to do it. I can't even imagine trying to play this game over wireless, the performance is **** enough wired.

Still no luck. The PS3 doesn't recognize the ethernet cable. I've tried connecting to wifi, using my Macbook as a hotspot, and hardlining the PS3.

You might consider troubleshooting a little more. Ethernet problems don't always = burned out network card.

I'd start with doing a system restore personally. Set that thing back to factory.

I've already rebuilt the database, as well as restored the system to default twice. No luck on any of those fronts, either
