Sorry monger, its based on trust system, dont trade with people you don't know, only trade within alliance and corporation, thats all I can really tell you

There is a way to stop scamming already in place. It's called Distrust, and a healthy dose of it will do wonders for your scamming problem

I don't know why we can't have a copy of the trade window from Eve.
Each person could click on the other, select trade, and it shows assets and ISK in one window. You hit confirm if you like what you see in the trade window, or cancel if the person puts in some basic items in an attempt to scam you.
