I was just wondering how many others have this? Among PC Users and even among gamers Carpal Tunnel can become an issue from frequent use. I don't know the exact numbers but I am one of them. Who has it? What do you do to treat it? Do you have a special sort of mouse/keyboard. A special type of gaming controller? I know about wrist braces to keep my hand in place at night while I sleep... Do not know how comfortable that would be but I was just wondering what else I could do to keep it from getting worse.
I was told that I may need surgery for my carpel tunnel. I spent the last few years with numb fingers/hands. Feeling like I have very little grip. It is infuriating to feel so weak. I like to feel powerful and strong lol. However recently this condition has evolved from a numb and weak feeling to a painful feeling. Past 7 days my hands have been in constant pain. Not alot of pain... ignorable but still annoying. Like a constant annoying little "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep". After a while I just want to tell the pain in my hands to STFU and HTFU and get back to work.
As a gamer this is a little saddening. Stop gaming completely to try and reduce the effects feels a little extreme but at the same time surgery also feels a little extreme. I don't feel like I should have to give things up, just learn to take care of myself better. However I still gotta keep in mind that I am going to need these hands for the rest of my life. I got the magic touch and I don't want to lose that.

I hope maybe some more people comment on this condition and remedies that work for them. The pain and weakness started for me a little over a month ago. At first I kept trying to play through it but about 3 weeks ago it got to the point where my reflex was absolute sh!t. I'm taking a forced break from Dust right now because of this. My finger started going numb this week when attempting to play on an alt, it sucks so bad man. I hate doctors but think I should go be evaluated, but my god this sucks.
