I see everyone complaining and requesting a Nerf for the Weaponry, but if you take a look at it. We only have 2 Good Weapons; The ScR and The AScR. Not to mention these weapons have no other tiers such as a Breach Variant. The Laser is working as intended and does not have any other sub-variants.
As for the ScP the only good weapons are the standard ones, Viziam and Carthum ScP. The Breach and Burst are just god awful, which is probably why they don't go up to proto.
I will not go for Nerfing the Amarr weapons until the Minmitar speed is looked at.
The only nerf necessary for the ScR is a Max RoF so people with quick fingers can't pop off 10 shots after a charge.
The AScR is fine. |

as for destroyer, the ScR is going to get a dps nerf but is having a higher charge damage multiplier to reward true ScR marksmen. It's more of a tweak really so don't you worry

We know there is going to be a change the only thing I ask from him is that he look back to what happened with the AScR and take incremental steps to change the weapons rather than feel obliged to make sweeping changes all in one go.
I mean when you consider the ScR QQ you see players asking for RoF Nerfs, Damage Nerfs, Heat Nerfs, Charged Shot Nerfs, Hip Fire Dispersion Nerfs, etc.
If he is to change the weapon he cannot possibly mean to address all of these issues or risk relegating the rifle to the back burner until players eventually realise the changes were over kill.
Which is why I suggest to him that he look at changing what is commonly perceived as the two greatest complaints of the weapon it's DPS and the Charged Shot.
The latter which I have suggested a particular fix to that has it function as the Ion Pistol does with the 1.5-2 second weapon shake animation post charged shot.

It's more of a tweak really so don't you worry. The ASCR though is OP and that's someone who is always an amarr tech user saying that. The damage increase on the AScR should have been 10% at most
The Charge shot bonus is nice but unnecessary. The problem I feel towards the weapon is the charge not using a lot of heat, which is why you can flurry off loads of shots afterwards. |

AScR back then was quite lacking tbh. Though 15% increased damage was a bit over the top. Perhaps it could have made do with 5-7.5%

I will always admit, that those who can use, could, use the charge variant, deserve a certain amount of respect. It's a great weapon, especially when put in the hands of someone with real gun game. Right now both are just crazy OP. I'm not saying this because I shield tank. I'm saying this as I just pulled mine out the other week. They're wicked OP, dropping everything in my wake. I still believe they need a nerf, and if you use the charge variant, you shouldn't be concerned
