Maybe they are trying to disrupt the player base ... break the game till everybody leaves.
It's called a denial of service attack and is usually performed by hackers to prevent access to a valuable resource. This is an interesting strategy that CCP has adopted. If they deny service to us, then we leave, and they don't have to hear anymore of our chirping. Makes sense. |

Or maybe the American and EU servers can't handle slightly elevated traffic because CCPs network resources are mismanaged and outdated? Who knows?

It is a real shame we can not see an update to the game without it being broken for several days afterwards.
Normally I accept this as something that happens but this waiting for deployment glitch seems to be pretty common. One would think that by now CCP would have done something to prevent it from coming back. |
