Yep you heard it folks. If you are in high school or in a Community College and are almost done with it or you just started then what is your dream University that you want to go and why.
Not all Universities offer the same majors so your part is to do research on it.
I live in the beautiful state of California :D and so far my list of UC's I want to go well its here.
1) Stanford University
2) University of Los Angeles (UCLA)
3) University of Berkeley
4) University of Irvine
My major is Chemical Engineering so its not an easy major heck anything that's in the science fields = Never easy but it depends on the field.
In my I have to be skilled in the following;
Computer <--- coding as in C++
Math <--- My strongest subject I learn it fast and if anyone needs help then BAM I'll help that person.
English <--- Another Strong subject for me
Chemistry <---- A class I took in high school and the teacher boy she was strict but in the end I passed the class with a B+ both semesters
Based on your experiences um do you think is bad to be single?
I'm 20 attending college and so far I've never been a relationship nor had a gf ect... I've been in the friend zone which thats what my friends call it and I'm like ????? "the friend zone like what's that?" and my friends go into berserk mode of
Don't get me wrong I have many friends who are girls but seeing myself with one as in a couple or don't know how you guys call it. idk I mean I just don't see it. I'm not saying that I'll be single forever but idk.
I do have a dream of getting married, family, ect... but as of right now my priority is my education, then after finish work in my future job :D and then blow up planets ( Not really I won't blow up planets lololol)
Have a great day
Who's ready for Summer? :D

I don't have many choices, limited to colleges in my state (or a few near my state) that the Wisconsin National Guard will cover. But I don't give a ****, because I have the GI bill, with the kicker slapped on, giving me $562 every month I'm in school, along with my tuition covered.
Some details can be ignored

Eh, over here people don't have dream colleges (University is considered a college, not sure how it differs there) so much as dream courses. If I'm not mistaken you don't actually choose what your studying until your already there, is that correct? Well we choose our course well in advance. So someone could have a huge desire to do journalism and not care so much where they do it.
Saying that, there are some who really want to go to a particular place, but usually course is prioritised. Unless they want to go to Trinity, but the type that go there are twats.
And although I'm a year younger, I don't think it's worth being worried over being single at our ages. Like, if it happens then by all means go for it but don't stress yourself out over it. One last thing, people would have you think the "friendzone" is black and white, think of it as almost completely grey.
What're you looking at me like that for? I'll shank you I will.

From someone who has much college experience I would suggest this:
Don't only consider the reputation of the school, but also its value. There are many great state schools that may not have the prestige but are very acadmically sound and won't leave you drowning in loans.
College is what you make of it and you don't need to get into your dream school or program to succeed. In fact, some times dreams are just that; imaginary. Sometimes reality falls short of them, other times it greatly exceeds them.

In my opinion this is good advice. Don't spend so much at school that you end up broke until you're 50 trying to pay for it.
With regard to relationships: Just do your thing with school and friends, when you meet someone special you'll know it.
You sound like you have your head on straight. Just keep on working hard and building that brain.
With regard to career: Look for the point of convergence between what you are good at doing and what you care the most about. If there is a job that incorporates both aspects - that will be the most fulfilling work for you.
Wish you the best, Wolf |
