Knives are for the weak.
I've maxed out myofibs: my proto scout can melee for 615 damage WHILE CLOAKED.
You decloak after the first punch, but you don't have to worry about the annoying cloak delay.
Meanwhile, I carry my breach MD as a mid-range shotgun
Some details can be ignored

In your case the knifes can be used as a secondary weapon, the shotgun as an opener. Plus: Knifes and Scr are skill based weapons, everybody can learn them, but everybody has to learn them. Some people simply want to put a gun into their hand and blast away w/o fear of ridiculing failure (see: KTB proving Knifes to be easy) or repercussion (heat-seizure) **] |

Max gank & tank + easy-to-use weapon. They gave proto Assaults one too many slots when they buffed them, imo, and I'm saying that having had Amarr Assault V since early Uprising when it had too few. Should've been 2-5.

I hate those guys...
I frontal-knifed one of them before though. It's in my blog somewhere. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find the post, bu I just gave up though lol.

are you kidding? if you can bring a knife to a gun fight and actually manage to stab someone on those fairly large maps, then that does not fall under the 'weak' category. it's easy to get slaughtered running around with a set of knives and a paper-thin suit. |

If general hit detection wasn't wonky particularly with the Cal Scout, all Minjas would be using their fists. Damn it is powerful when you don't have to worry about a put-down delay with cloaks. Yes, I am a scrub.

You know what? You can actually use other guns too!
What a surprise.. not really.
If you have bonuses towards x gun it doesn't mean that you should only wear x for the rest of your game.
Using different guns on different suits is called diversity.
