If the player is posting an "I quit" thread and fills it with meaningful feedback then they might hope the devs take the feedback to heart and work on X areas of the game.
If the player is posting an "I quit" thread just because they want to **** on the game chances are they are frustrated, want to vent at something or someone, and/or lack the basic communicative skills to provide feedback.

You seem surprised people are making a complaint just for the sake of it because if they leave it doesn't matter what was wrong with the game, based on my experience people complain in ALL situations, for example I saw documentary on the Holocaust and
a guard complained about the job being monotonous, if humans thought about things before complaining he would not have said that.
I did an I quit announcement because I had 40 million ISK and 200 thousand AURUM to give away I wanted someone else to be happy with it
I gave away half the ISK but then I decided to try flying dropships and realised dust could offer me what more modern
games could not so I was not wasting my time with it. |
