FIX THE FREEZING **** I'm sick of seeing new stuff when the old stuff has yet to be fixed Please fix the freezing problem, I know its hard to tell whats causing it but find it and solve this huge bug If you guys don't fix these bugs I can safely say you won't have a fan base to market this game. Because no ones going to play a game that doesn't work!
(Hint: The problem was obviously not this bad on the last build sooooo something you added made it worse.) |

Its already supposed to be fixed in the next patch, end of June I believe.
I quit dust and start again every 3 maps, no freeze. I guess some people get it every 2 or so maps, I'm guessing they like to browse every tab in the market or something, or maybe just hardware differences. |

I don't see the new stuff that's being added before fixing the freezes...
We've not gotten anything new since the Replication patch which introduced the frequent freezing problem...

I admit I saw the title to your post and thought..."who does this joker think he is?" but alas, You speak for everyone. And you drive a big Tank if I recall correctly
I put in the feedback that I estimate about 1Million SP's lost to hard freezes. Mine mostly happen after death and cant press "CIRCLE" or while spawning in. It has actually remedied itself ONE time when I died and the Cestus was near to armor and it froze and gave me the win in a few seconds of being frozen . any one else had that happen? |

Oh good. Another freeze thread. CCP must keep forgetting the game needs to not freeze. Because there have been hundreds of updates since replication and those sillies forgot to fix it every time.
Oh wait. It's the same bug. There have been no updates. Just wait for a god damn update. If there are freezes after that, ill make the god damn thread myself. |

Freezing is getting annoying. And has result in more than one nerd rage incident at the my ps3. It always seems to happen when my fun is peaking. |

I'm sure they're aware that the game has a freezing problem, and no one likes freezing. Making more threads about it isn't changing anything. |

Well, hey... I mean.. they apparently are stuck working on this newest big patch... but my issue is...
If it takes them this long to release a -single- patch for the beta, how often are we going to see patches in the final product? it's somewhat worrysome.
I don't claim to know the turmoil or funds that go behind these patches, but why not just release smaller "emergency" patches to clear out some of the more game-breaking issues first? like, does each patch require a complete overhaul of the game? Certainly the freezing one would require us to re-download the game more or less, as I'm sure it's pretty deeply imbeded in the code... but what about silly things like weapon tweaks and the spawn points thing? or walking backwards in our quarters :P... surely you could .. "hotfix" those issues, right? or again, am I just compeltely wrong, and each change requires a completely new client? if so, then sorry for bothering you but...
it just kinda seems unfair. EVE gets CONSTANT patches, at LEAST once a week or so, sometimes (most of the time) they are actually pretty small, and fix a little here, or a little there. why can't we get that? even though you have to go through Sony first, why not just flood them with hot fixes? is there something in your business contracts that don't allow more than one patch a month or something? if so, that is highly jacked up and needs to be remedied. |

More or less, they first have to find out what is causing the issue of freezes. Possibly requiring going through coded modules one at a time, line by line, and testing the code at each stage...
Then, they have to remedy this...
Agreeably, this has already been done... now they have to submit this patch to SONY, then Sony goes through their 'signing-off' whatever that entails. Send it back to CCP if required to make some changes for incompatability to their system, then CCP sends it back to SONY after making fixes, then SONY rechecks it.
Eventually it's deemed useable, and applied to SONY Server, which then updates our Clients or Server Side.
You state that EVE constantly gets updates. Well EVE Serevrs are controlled by CCP... they can access them at ANY time. Sony's Servers are not 'all access' to CCP, and they have their own protocols.
Patience is the key here... wait for them to do it right first time. And not rush this gorgeous product to the shelves in the hopes that they'll assuage the masses. |

Pretty sure it takes something like 2 weeks for Sony to approve any patches/DLC. |

There's a reason for this: they test patches extensively before approving them...it' not like they enjoy make us wait. |
