I live US West Coast and my local internet is one of the best (FiOS 75/75) and latency within the US is always around 3 - 20ms. Once I start doing that trace route to CCP Servers, it gets ugly fast. From NY to the servers alone is an increase of 120ms which varies drastically by hour. Why do I say this? Rubber banding. Ive just come to accept that certain corps and name types are going to be ahead of me due to that latency. (yes they have A LOT lower latency to the server) Nothing like "getting the drop" on a guy to have him turn around and you die. Then the animation kicks in and you get shot all up at once. This doesnt happen a lot, but none the less, it happens and probably to everyone. Lag isnt always choppy frame rates.

Can't say I've ever seen the old Quacker lag, but I quite often see just a single player lagging about, while the rest of both teams seem fine. No idea what causes it, RasoRatt (I think his name is) tends to lag about on my screen, but not always... Pretty sure it's just the server, because most of the time when he isn't teleporting about, he's more than good enough to kill me.
