You start blasting away at a red from 50 meters and as you get closer start wondering

You finish off your main weopons clip switch to the sidearm and whittle that last sliver of hp down
As he is desperately ducking in and out of cover
And of course you pop the corpse
It would be foolish not to!
And you realize when all is said n done,
"My suit only cost 8K!"
Thank the devs for flux grenades!
Without them I wouldn't have had enough bullets!

A proto user that dies like that doesn't deserve proto. But then again, that's most proto users you see in pub matches. I only pull it out when it's a really close fight.
What's really annoying is when you know someone is using something irreplaceable (was fighting someone who had a black eagle AR, easy to spot because of their proto amarr asssault and laser), you nearly kill them SO MANY TIMES with a standard suit, then get killed at the point that an angry look would have killed them.
Meanwhile, every time, there's a nearby blueberry that tries fighting them right after you die, but somehow gets killed without dealing ANY damage.
When that happened, I finally said **** it, and pulled out my super-DPS adv commando (still not going to pull proto out just for that), saw them standing in the middle of the open with their back towards me, firing their laser. I moved up behind them hoping to get a surprise myofib'ed commando roid-punch before finishing with my ACR...
then the match ended with them turning around to face me, just outside my melee range.
