I can not sit back and remain silent. I have supported CCP on may adventures. Charging 100,000lp for a skin is ridiculous . Its not even good business because you dont have a way to pay actual cash on the item. How are you benefiting from this ? How does fac warfare benefit ?
How practical is it to go to a car dealership and pay X amount for the car and then the same X amount to paint it a different color? You dont have to jack the cost to make something difficult to obtain. You could have easily made the suits only wearable by people who have a FW rank of 4 etc. Thats difficult
Suggestion: drop the price and create a rank lock out on wearing the suit. My suggestion is rank 4 in FW . |

I've said this many times, I support having expensive, hard to obtain, elite SKINs, just for my own elitist reasons. However I think there should be cheap ugly grunt SKIN's for all the level 4 peasants out there as well.

Make it level 8 and call it a day.
Level 10 would not bother me either but most players will never know that level in a given faction thanks to constant hopping.

It's not about being an elitist. It's about how much your paying for a different color. They cost the exact same as an item that is actually pretty damn useful and worth the actual cost.
If you're talking about rare items, pirate faction SKINs are more rare since they can only be obtained through luck, and I already have 2. |

I understand your frustration , Nobody wants to see a noob running around in a skin that they grinded for 7 days. Granted , thos persons probably invested in aurum to boost grind and CCP rewards those who pay aurum with access to items earlier than others .
The issue is not the price ( value ) . Its the metric behind pricing . Objectively how can you say (paint job ) equals ( new car) . Whats the metric for determining value overall? |
