I have been using it since i first started playing this game, and when i had it sucked. As of recently i have started to use it again and i have to say that i feel like it is in a good position (unless there is an Amarr assault, those things can kill anything.) Anyone else out there that uses it? I would like to hear some opinions on it.
It will be over soon, and when the Dust settles, no one will be left playing.

It's very niche, and restricted in effectiveness to certain areas (has to have cover for shield regen, but not within a complex where SG scouts and Duvolle/CR's shred through it.
And when there's an Amarr Assault with 2 or more damage mods, you're completely negated. What a joke.

It's pretty good. Needs a bit better delays, regen rate, CPU (and/or utility mods need a buff) plus a decent damage threshold for regen and it'll be excellent. It's already a lot of fun to use and quite survivable in the right situations.

No it's not. My untanked ck.0 assault has less armor than that.

Another problem with the style, the Rail Rifle has a charge up, you can not expect to pop up for a few seconds, dish out fire, and duck again with such a charge up time.

The suit is useless. Armor suits have much bettter variety of what they can put in their highslots like damage mods, precision enhancers, myos etc. Shield suits are redundant cause you cannot have a DPS increase of your weapon cause you sacrifice HP on your main tank by doing so. Mobility is a rather "meh" factor considering you have to get up close to take a objective and not sit at 100m and shot some 1 with you rail rifle.
Since Myos have beeing nerfed down to 3 the Caldari assault/logi have lost their ability to jump up very high to get access to rooftops etc. So the only role that they had has beeing taken away cause ya know Caldari had cake for once and CCP cant allow it that Caldari players have cake.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

With max skills it will be 194.
It's my first suit and it took me a long time to master it.
It pales in comparison to the other assaults.
Shields need revision, but that isn't going to happen any time soon.

Cal ass is pointless..less dmg less hp same movement speed 1.6 is the fastest recharge delay get shot once and you have to wait again..shields should constantly recharge, they put out less dmg and have less hp there's no reason to have a delay..

I played Caldari assault since closed beta and i still play Caldari assault.
And yes there is nothing wrong with the suit itself, the only things that makes life really hard for us are SCR/ASCR they kill us way to fast, like almost instant, and also the flux grenade as there is NO counterpart we can use against armor.
And the fact that logibros can't really help us regenerate shield.
I don't think armor is any better then shield is, it's the SCR/ASCR, flux grenades and the logibro's reps that makes
ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
Fix those 3 things somehow and it will be ALL GOOD =ƒÿÿ |
