Having the loyalty rank lock-out on item trading and isk trading is a good way to limit abuse of these systems, and now I must conclude that allowing players to trade aurum directly can only be a good thing as well if such limitations are under consideration.
ISK does nothing for me, I want to be able to trade my officer gear for aurum! Or extra BPO's that I have (if they are ever allowed to be traded), Aurum trading should be allowed. |

Players in EVE online can practically play the game for 'free' if they make enough isk in the game because of being able to purchase PLEX from players, since the closest thing to 'PLEX' we have in dust are boosters, and there's no direct way to buy boosters with money without having to convert it into aurum first, I dont see why we shouldnt be able to buy aurum from other players with isk or items, since there are so many kinds of boosters it would really need to be established which boosters are best for trading if such a thing was allowed, while aurum allows more descrete ammounts of purchase.
This could help newer players too who dont have enough isk to get stuff, by either trading aurum for isk or just trading it for items. |

trading AUR allows RMT, which is thoroughly against CCP policy. You will have to purchase the items with the aurum and trade that.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

I don't see how its against CCP policy when they allow players to buy PLEX with real money and then trade the PLEX for ISK, its basically their allowed version of RMT. And there's no way to turn AUR back into real money, its still money that had to basically be given to them, nobody loses. |

I think LP Specialty weapons are next on the list.
Depending on how the general population reacts to scamming and when CCP adds a prompt to warn that all trades are FINAL and cannot be reversed then they will start dipping into AUR items such as boosters.
The very last thing will be the AUR Weapons.
Over 60+ Million SP and full proto in all Caldari Suits. Dust just won't die on PS3/Xbox. Dustin since 6/29/2012

you work for plex, you want Aur you should work for that to, in real life. If Player trading stays as honest as it has majority wise you'll eventually be able to trade boosters and Aur items, Aur is available in EvE and i doubt you can buy it with isk. To be honest who in the right mind is going to pump money into Dust just to sell Aur or Aur items recently purchased from the market place for any amount of isk when theres a good chance the experimental lab gives you 6 items every 2 days worth a pretty penny, and you can save 10 keys every 3 to 4 days giving you a nice isk worth of gear. With trade going the way it is would you even be able to afford any price 1 Aur will be worth?

Believe it or not, CCP actually tried that in Eve Online with Aurum Tokens but it didn't work out mainly because PLEX made Aurum Tokens redundant. All you have to do to get AUR is redeem a unit of PLEX for a set amount of AUR or sell the PLEX directly to another player and let them redeem it instead. Today, they are still in the market but their supply is dwindling because CCP has ceased with distributing them because of the PLEX system.
And with trade one day expanding to include AUR items in the future, there will be no point in being able to share AUR with another player. Want AUR gear or boosters? Pay a player some ISK for it.

Because CCP controls in-game microtransactions. Allowing AURUM trading opens an RMT avenue, especially when daily AUR logins go live.
Farm aur, sell aur onlinE. It's another gold seller thing idif CCP allows AUR to be traded.
