How much time will pass until "Assault HMG is OP" thread comes up.This beast hits like a truck from up close and from decent range when it's warmed up.
Tried it for a first time few days ago,four dudes(2 of them were "famous" forum warriors/ Dust scrubs) came across me and they all ended up dead so fast i didn't even overheated...And I was like 
I think it needs nerf because i managed to kill proto scrub with STD AHMG just like in old times before the HMG nerf patch 
Public skirmish = camping games,
Public domination = officer sniping games,
Public ambush = russian roulette

Neither of those options  Just wondering though... I don't see many heavies with that (2/10 use it) but when everyone start to use it,General Discussions will be full of "HMG so OP,please nerf" crying.

Sometimes it never needs to happen.
Back in Codex, scrambler pistols were pretty damn OP, but the community only reacted by treating it like a light weapon. Whenever there were threads about "who's best with each weapon", scrambler pistols were the only sidearms listed. Nobody in the community gave a single **** that they had the range of ARs.
Then, CCP nerfed them. Came as a shock because I, as a forum warrior, have never seen a single nerf thread on them.
As for assault HMGs, I don't see a problem. They get out-DPSed in a flat-out CQC brrrrt fight against normal HMGs.

Well the AHMG was made against Vehicles ONLY not against infantry.

Completely wrong, its Av capabilities were increased while its AI effectiveness was decrease (lower DPs & faster heat buildup)

I use both the HMG and the AssHMG, and I can tell you this much: It is not OP.
In CQC situations the AHMG is at a huge disadvantage when compared to fast moving fast firing assaults or even another sentinel using the HMG. Yes if you are lucky or extremely accurate you may live, however in most cases you will overheat in a sentinel duel.
In mid range situations, the AHMG can be used as a suppression tool or even a killing machine in the right hands. Keep in mind that to get those range kills over 40m (which is possible) you will be firing it a while so the dispersion/reticule tightens and if you don't pay attention, it will over heat.
What I tend use depends on the situation. Gal Lag Facility, I'll be using the regular HMG for faster firing, CQC. For mid range like Train Map or the one with the highway in it (can't remember the name) I would usually switch between the HMG and the AHMG at a supply depot or when I die.
