The point of this post is to highlight the fact that Dust and Eve integration has not even been attempted in any form other than putting the ability to have Dust Mercs in Eve Corps and vice versa.
Granted some minor benefits to POS fuel may be gained if a corp blows hundreds of millions of isk Dust side to acquire a planet's districts but the amount of isk required to gain marginal savings on POS fuel is miniscule compared to the amount spent winning even one district in Dust when exchange rates are taken into account. I am sure CCP could do a quick check on all the moons for POS gaining benefits from district ownership but I would expect that this remains a white elephant, unseen except rarely.
The whole point of being in the same universe is that there can be interaction, both positive and negative. Able to impact a universe on both sides is the missing piece of the game both from a mercenary standpoint and from an Eve pilot's standpoint. What can we do to bring it all together? To make the ONE UNIVERSE rather than what we have here in the Dust bowl?

THIS is what I was looking for. The reason for the post. Now that I know I can knowingly, and approvingly, and DESERVINGLY give you a +1.
