Please leave your tinhats at home, etc.
CCP has abandoned their trademark claim on EVE: Legion... Who knows, this might mean nothing significant at all, just an interesting tidbit.
Have you considered installing the improved keyboard?

It could mean any of the following:
1) Legion is DOA
2) Legion is in sleep mode and they are waititng on it
3) CCP is changing the name of the project, or decided that as its still a project they don;t need a trademark yet.
4) CCP has decided to rename it.
5) The TM is just not needed atm
6) they forgot to renew it.
*shrugs* Legion is coming, because dust on ps3 will eventually die. I believe in new eden on pc, but legion could become dust 514 on the ps4 for all we know. |

Yep, there are many potential explanations for it, which why I didn't even bother speculating.

However... The fact that Dust on PS3 will eventually die (because, yes, obviously it will, sooner or later) doesn't in any way guarantee that Legion will ever exist. While I can hope CCP will give us Dust (or whatever they choose to call it) on PS4 (or PC to those who care about that), it might never happen. We can't know. All we do know is that there have been no news on Project Legion for a year.

I Am really stoked that CCP was able to buy those bonds back. Hopefully we can find out where are going with a New Eden shooter on the PC now that they have pulled the trademark name. To me it communicates that the project is over. And that is just how it goes in this industry.
I wonder what the CSM has to say about this?

Probably something like 'blah blah blah NDA blah blah talking to ccp but blah blah blah.' |
