Hey guys, I want to hear some opinions on which Combat Rifle you guys prefer or think is better, Assault or Normal?

I prefer the Boundless Combat Rifle any day over the Six Kin Assault Combat Rifle.

Assault for for sheer bullet hose. Need to take out someone quickly use the assault.
The boundless is great for taking on 2 to 3 dudes thanks to its massive damage per burst.
So I say
Assault for 1v1 or ambushing on a speedie fit.
The burst for more brawling style of fit.

Hhmm, dunno I was using the Boundless and I can't really take 2-3 dudes out with it, even with 100% accuracy, it's pretty weak against shields.

The ACR feels kind of dirty to me. Something about that RoF makes me feel like a scrub for using it. I also enjoy semi-auto weapons over full-auto.TBH I didn't even like the burst version at first but I've gotten used to it. I still like the TAR and ScR better, but they don't seem to perform as well in the armor meta.
'Sault AK.0 - Logi AK.0 - Logi GK.0 - Scout GK.0 - 'Mando MK.0 - Masshole in every sense of the word.

The burst is actually arguably the best weapon for strafe battles.
To apply full damage with the Assault variant, you have to keep your enemy in your crosshair all the time.
With the boundless you just need to do it when your burst is ready again, so even if your enemy is switching direction and or spazzing out, you can apply full damage by just waiting for his body and your crosshair to meet, and then unleash 3 bullets that fire too quickly for him to avoid any of them.
It's too perfect, actually.

For short range DPS the ACR is better, but if you wanna shoot anything over 50 meters the burst variant is ten times better as the ACR suffers from an awful dispersion |

I put the ACR on my scout because it outperforms the shotty at medium range and still beats down the heavies up close.
On all my other non-role suits I rock the normal CR. The range from the bursts make it superior. Plus the Acog sights really help out. This gun feels like I would expect the AR to feel. I can mid range control my fire straight to head shots and hip fire without missing half my bullets.
From Logi, to Heavy, to Scout, now I am moving to ADS. Please stop balancing!

Hey brother  . And yes to be honest with everyone here my Minmatar scout has the Six kin and then my basic minmatar scout has the BK. But for my Assault CK.0 I have many fits and they vary from ishukone assault rail rifle, duvolle assault rifle, and then the Boundless combat rifle, but I fine that there are limits to what you use on your fits, and what works best.

If only the game could register all bursts from CR. But, ney.
ACR is doing much better when there are lags/fps issues. That's why it's more commonly used in PC.

Because you are using it on a Caldari, not a Matari.

Frame rate affects it badly. That is the downside of this weapon.
Honestly if the frame rate didn't suck I would say the CR is the best weapon in the game.
