Been getting an insane amount of hardfreezes since the patch. It is very frustrating, like denying dope access to an addict. Heard from a few other players they have this problem as well. I reinstalled the game two times now and it didnt help. What gives? |

And I thought it is some issue with my Playstation. So other players have that problem too. Happened two times that my PS3 had a hard freeze.
First CCP tried to kill our joy with that game and now they are trying to kill our PS3 
No seriously that isn-¦t fun. I don-¦t want to loose another PS3 just because Dust does not work properly.

It isn't ccp or even the game , its your ps3 saying goodbye because its f#cked. Trust me I've lost to many ps3 in the past from this cr@p

I honestly doubt it. My ps3 is the last slim version, I got it specially for dust two years ago. All other games work fine, no crashes at all, and especially not this type of hard freeze. |

Discribe your freeze , will you be playing and it just suddenly stops. There's no sound and when you press the playstation button nothing happens ?

Remove few chat channels,I had same problem and I solved it by removing couple chat channels.
Public skirmish = camping games,
Public domination = officer sniping games,
Public ambush = russian roulette

Exactly that. It can happen during battle or just when standing in wabarge, or when looking skills. Picture freezes, there is no sound, no error message, ps button does not work and I have to manually restart the ps3. When I restart it the console does a check to see if there is data damage but it finishes instantly and says everything is ok.
I'll try with the channel clean up when I come home. Thanks for the advice. |

I am a really hardcore EVE fanboy...****** thing is I coudnt get it in time for beta. Had to wait for a chance when my parents went abroad. Currently I own only 2 games besides Dust: Skyrim and Diablo, and those were just so my bros have something to play.
Do I regret it? No.

Check the save files and game data for those games. If you have one over 2 Gigs try deleting it. I know when I deleted the super large game data files off my PS3, all my problems went away.

ultra slim ps3 is the best ps3 in terms of running dust. Only once have i ever disconnected and never hard froze. Or maybe that is just my solid state drive. meh idk.
