Are these a thing? Wasnt there some talk about adding bonuses or something to make their existence even worthwhile?

Yes, they are a thing, but they shouldn't get a bonus, they aren't assaults and they aren't logi's, hardly anyone uses 'em anyhow, just leave it where it is

The min heavy frame is good, it has more speed ,than the sentinel, but less hp.
Petition to ban the trainyard map.

That was the whole point of giving them some sort of bonus or layout flexibility to separate them from the speiclized frames. Otherwise they might as well remove them.

I think proto medium basic frames should get a second equipment slot. If it is possible on stater fits (medic), why not on proto?

I believe they should receive a bonus and this bonus should carry over to the specialized roles, similar to how the bonuses in Tier 1 ships in eve carry over to Tier 2. This will mean that frames will be viable and specialized roles will have a bit more oomph.

Make basic suits module based; make role suits bonus based. More module slots on basic, less on role suits with the bonuses specifying it's ability.
