Hello all
From DUST Beta, I actually really liked everything about the game. Some called the graphics bleak, I found their structured simplicity a good change from the often over-cluttered norm; I liked the fortress-like buildings on most maps and found the gameplay very fun.
I liked earning ISK and maintaining a positive income, at least striving to while also pressing for victory, and though I usually used infantry suits it was always fun to battle against and alongside the variety of vehicles, which were really cool.
I eventually moved on to other games but I got a lot of great gameplay from DUST.
I am wondering how the game has progressed. One thing I didn't fully understand was the amount EVE and DUST tied in. I do have characters on EVE, could I use them to help on DUST? If I get serious in DUST, and seek to join a DUST Corp, will my actions influence the world of EVE? Can ISK earned be transferred in either direction? (not sure if it would be for the best, but wondering)
Any other way DUST ties into EVE or has longterm progression other than skilling up and earning ISK to buy gear to use in games?

If you last played since beta, you will notice a ton of new weapons and dropsuits. You should go to the militia section of the market to buy and try them out, as militia items don't require skills to use.
There has been a lot of small and big changes from beta like UI stuff, the skills menu is now a tree graphic progression, a skin system, etc.
Corporations of Dust players can conquer planets piece by piece.
There is a new game mode, a lot more maps since beta.
EVE and Dust don't really connect much though outside of faction warfare. That aspect isn't really a priority for the devs anymore.
Just try it. You might like it.
