Initial Release Date
So this coming Thursday will mark the 2nd Anniversary of Dust 514 as I noticed after browsing through Twitter. How will the community celebrate it's second birthday?
For me, I will likely spend more money on this game as a token of my appreciation for a game that somehow still lives despite the number of times Dust was suppose to die when another game was being released. I might spend the money on SKINs or maybe some more boosters. Who knows?
But it's not going to be just that. Oh no. I'm going out with a bang by spamming nothing but XM15 Snowball Launchers in lieu of any fireworks that are not available in the game so far.
In all honesty, I don't have a clue what I'm actually going to do to celebrate. And since PSHome is now officially dead, I will not be able to celebrate it in the Event Horizon Lounge.

I don't recognize Dust's birthday as 5/14, if anything it's 1/10. What happened on 5/14? The game was already openly downloadable for free by anyone since 1/10. All the ISK and SP and everything you had since 1/10 you kept, No reset. There was an update that was still missing a ton of core content. Nothing about 5/14 was a release aside from some lame press releases.

I hope they do a 50% off all AUR on the psn store.
Then I would buy the Apex Minmatar Scout, Gal Sentenal, Amarr Assault, and Minmatar Logi.
Also I hope that day we all get missions of winning 1 battle and bam 10 keys. For all slots.

I miss the lounge. I'm glad I had those screenshots to be able to put together that photo.
As for a celebration...
If you have the snowball mass driver and at least one myofibril stim you can jump inside a landed dropship with ease. Get a bunch of people inside with drivers shooting each other while the dropship gently flies around the map...

I think of 5/14 as less a birthday and more a baptismal day for the game - when DUST 514 was fully immersed in the dark, swift-moving waters of stupidity by unknown agents who seemed fully engaged in magical thinking.
