Sounds to me like you are typing in the subject and not the body.
If not then I believe you just opened yourself up to a flood of troll mails since everyone knows you can not reply. |

Nope, was in the subject.  It's done this before, it was weird. I could send short messages, but if I tried to send my full reply, which wasn't even as long as what I'm typing now, it wouldn't go through. I could just send a few words and that was it. 
What? Am I mad? Why do you ask?

Never tested this myself, but evemails have a maximum character limit, several thousand ish letters, that is much larger than what they actually let you enter in the dust client.
When you reply to a message in dust, it also copies and includes the message you are responding to, adding to that hidden character limit
If you went back and forth like this for a while, or responded to a LARGE mail, its possible that you've hit the hard limit on the number of letters an evemail is allowed to have, and the dust client doesn't know how to warn you or how to deal with it and just starts dropping your words.
Try "replying" by composing new mail (don't press reply on the message you got) |
