I ask because I'm getting a little bored of roaming solo. I've yet to actually do the VoG raid, plus I could use some help doing the Level 26 Summoning Pits strike for my Exotic Bounty.
Running Level 30 Warlock, Level 26 Hunter and Level 25 Titan. Literally no lifed it since I got the game three weeks ago.

if you are talking about the first step of the thorn exotic bounty, you can do that on level 8.

Nooo....God no. The 4th/5th stage, killing Xyor the Unwed in the Level 26 version of the strike you only get whilst at the stage of the bounty.

the thorn is the one where you do the summoning pits, then kill a bunch of dudes on the moon, lastly you have to get 500 points in crucible using only void damage. you might be right about that other part though, it has been forever since i did that bounty, |

After Void Damage, it's getting an Infusion of Light from the Speaker, then talking to Ikora Vey to be told to kill Xyor the Unwed in the Level 26 Summoning Pits strike before you finally get the gun

all you have to do is kill the xyor, i dont think you have to finish the mission once you do that, then again, it has been some time since i did that bounty. my mind may be failing me.
