i would love to keep a list of all estimated and actual deployment times for a week or two and check for patterns... but im lazy.

In my opinion they should just remove it.
It was not accurate before, and it's not accurate now.
If it is not accurate, it serve no purpose and usually is just annoying. |

That wouldn't do anything. For FW it's a negative feedback loop, once matches pop things are fine. For regular public contracts no one cares as it's only an estimate.

The ETA for FW is based on the wait time of matches held for those factions within the last 10 minutes. But if you see a 00:00 ETA, that means no matches were held during that time and you might not get into a match unless you figure out how to kick start it. Usually that means having to send someone over to the opposing side so you can get a fight.
