I think limited APEX customization is a good thing, but what's the best limitation to place on them? Currently I understand it's a PG CPU limit.
But, what if instead they were only compatible with gear from the their own faction?
I wouldn't mind seeing the APEX suits become sort of the 'standard military suit' for each respective race, and become more prevalent in FW.
I liked that the APEX suits offered racial parity, and think they still should.
I would propose a slight increase in PG/CPU, but adding a penalty to using technology from other factions.
Other thoughts on this?
Who cares what some sniper has to say.

Eh. A Minmatar Scout with no Nova Knives would be kind of hilarious, honestly.
But honestly, as much as I hate BPOs and APEX suits as a whole, I dislike the idea of restricting them in this manner because if it's anything I've learned from the LP store is that certain factions would be boned right from the start. Gallente Federation, for instance, don't have light weapon damage amplifiers... Which is honestly a staple of their combat philosophy. That's just one example though, imagine being a Minmatar Logi that's only able to fit Repair Tools and Remote Explosives, or a Gallente Logi that can only fit Scanners.

Nova Knives are for Minmatar. Ishukone also produces the ASMG for them.
The OP is a bad idea because A) that severely punishes logis (a Shaman with 4 rep tools, how fun) and B) that VERY severely punishes Amarr who have barely any content at all. Amarr would have armor plates, scrambler weapons, and that's it. No reps, no precision enhancers, light/sidearm damage mods, nothing.
