Now, the reason why this isn't in the War Room is that I don't know for certain than 'DustPlayer' is an actual player himself. Let me give some backstory:
At the beginning of matches, I frequently see 'DustPlayer has left the battle'. I never, ever see this guy in the killfeed. The only time I notice him is when it says 'DustPlayer has left the battle'.
This is my question: Is 'DustPlayer' and actual living, breathing, unique player, or is 'DustPlayer' just an impromptu name that's displayed when there's an issue with retrieving player names?
If this actually turns out to be a real person, then holy frak, just stay in a battle, man!

We have a running joke in the Naughty Ninjas about DustPlayer.
DustPlayer is preemptively stat padding his % of matches completed to say 0, with highest amount of games entered.....cause that what scrubs do, pad stats.
Good ole DustPlayer, never fails to leave the match.

What if someone set up a program to automatically leave battle on an alt character simply to farm ISK..
The OP ISK farm is real
My worst DUST experience?
Having my dropship crush my Scotsman's with a Roden Sniper. THAT was a fun day...

1. "Scotty" and is in charge of making sure everybody got into the warbarge and found a good place to stand.
2. That magical, mysterious, undefined element that makes matchmaking what it is.....
3. A player with potato for internet
4. A merc that is scared of heights and bails whenever he has to enter the battle from the MCC

AFAIK its the placeholder name given to a player when they join a match, and if they are insta-dc'd, or have the thing where 'you have been returned to your mercenary quarters' is shown, this comes up in battle as the server didnt fully identify the characters name.
Basically a Scotty f*ck up.

Pretty sure 'Dust Player' is what happens when someone gets scotty'ed, or kicked before the battle starts, essentily your name has not quite been loaded into the battle when you get kicked, therefore 'Dust Player' is placed in as a place holder for your name.
Cleaning up the mess everyone leaves behind :)

There are several people who took the name, or changed it slightly (I know a few), just to troll people.
