Since the update trading for officer weapons has been happening a lot but it's weird how I have yet to see my opponents use them in matches. My wife plays on my PS3 on her profile but she is definitely on a different tier since she still uses militia gear and the standard frontline suits. Her tier is getting Officer stomped. BAD.

I have noticed players who are certain they are going to win the match tend to pull out officer weapons and dropsuits. It's another form of risk aversion. "I don't want my pretty shiny toys to get damaged. Oh no. I'll wait until we are curb stomping some blueberries to use them"
Meanwhile, I prefer my Rattati modified gk.0's and officer ARs to go down in a blaze of proto fire and core locus spam.

In all seriousness though, I rarely see officer equipment on the field. Makes me happy when I realize I just killed a modified Gk.0, I just messed up their wallet

I've spotted a few on the field, they're still surprisingly rare. Can't really field my own yet as I don't have the SP to get my ScP's back up, and I don't spend much time knifing anymore.

I tend to come across quite a few officer weapons or suits, but rarely a suit using the weapon. Puts a smile on my face if I get the kill and terminate the clone.

Confirming this is a logical tactic being used.
Not that it's nice though.

Thale's is the only most used officer weapon, because it is scrubby and is the common red line weapon. I'm a sniper, and I will never use that ****, though I may have to give up on quest to be the best sniper...
