I'm pretty bored of tanks honestly, I just wanted to give them a fair try and see how all the new changes played out. I've got some extra money floating around and instead of buying some grub I'm thinking on respecing, again. CURSE YOU CCP!!!!
Now, much of my 43 Million SP will still be tied up in vehicles because I'll never leave dropships, but I was hoping some of you could help me brainstorm a stealth focused infantry build. I imagine scout is the best for this still but I haven't payed attention to the infantry game in well over a year now, so feel free to fire away with suggestions or ideas and if something strikes my interest I may just wander off and give CCP some more money that I'm not quite sure they deserve but what can I say...

melee-ing minja of awesome.
Plus you can still get high.
Melee and Kincats to 5, some sort of weapon(i use my Quafe RR) and a decent nade(i use M1 but dang those Cores hurt)
As for equipments, i use a A-86 scanner, and either a cloak or nanohive.

Cloak and Dagger min scout
Shields & shield rechargers
Bolt pistol or SMG
Cloak
Fluxes
ZNs
Damps and cardiacs
Kinda hard to use (very) but its good for stealth, winning engagements before they even start, best in a semi open map, with cover for you, but no cover for your victim. xD Play alot of TF2 & MGS.

Do the Blue pills raise Nova Knife damage, or just melee? If it's the latter then what do you tend to prefer for a sidearm?

Myofibs only effect melee, and knives have no melee bonus to damage(as in, R3 melee)
My melee fits usually consisted of 2 Kincats and a reactive plate, with 2-3 myos and a enhanced extender
CR/RR and Flaylock or Ion Pistol.
The ion i personally loved because it was that "Oh THAT guy will be easy to- NVM." weapon, like the PLC of old.
The flaylock i found was great on scoutly maps, in which case i used nanohive/scanner, whereas the cloak was to keep me (relatively) unseen in open spaces.
In terms of making a knifing fit, i would run 1/2 Kincats and 2/1 damps, with either full shield tank or a myo or 2 for jump height.

gal scout with shotty and RE's still pretty OP
or you could go min assault shotty, 2 kin kats, 2 sensor damps and all shields in highs.

Depends on how stealthy you want to get.
If you want to beat the Gal Logi Focus Scans, you need a Scout (and a pro cloak if you are picking a race other than Gal Scout).
If you want "good enough" EWAR, you can do that passably on an Assault while having a significant HP advantage and no need to worry about the cloak.
