I would like an option for people who would like a squad--any ol' squad--to be automatically put into squads running pick-up squads--those without mic requirements, those which aren't recruitment, etc--when they enter a match.
Yes, there's the LFS screen, but the frequency of AFK squads is high, and then there's also the squads which sit there until they're full. I don't care, and I can't be the only one. 3 people is enough to start running matches. Even more-so if it automatically grew during the match as other players looking for any ol' squad joining the match in progress were put directly into your squad.
For the person who doesn't have more than 40 min or so but also finds value in squadding, this could be really useful. It takes too much time (when all I can do is get in 2-3 matches before logging off again) to wait for the alliance squads to come back from deployment or to look for squads in the LFS screen which aren't AFK and will be searching for battles soon.

If everyone is put in squads, then more points, which is equal to more warbarge strikes, which is equal to more chances to win, which is equal to actually winning, which is equal to more even battles, which will mean less players leaving matches, which equals to good stuff. GREAT IDEA.

This could go either way, honestly. If you're put into a random squad, they could just be your normal blueberrys or they could be really good players. It's not really set up to go one way or the other. |
