I have been playing for awhile but I'm not very good. I've got close to 30mill sp and I've respected 3 times trying to make it work for me. I'm not sure how the match making goes but all I run into is proto and they slay me even if I'm proto. Is there a way to make a map for just basic and advanced . And another suggestion I thought might be cool no uplinks or nano hives on some maps so it makes people use vehicles for transport to get ammo or to pick up revived players at the starting area . I am an ads pilot and it's a pain but it would utilize me more on the field besides just being a target. I know this is a huge request but I feel the balance is off. I play everyday and do my dailies. I'm not the best but I do enjoy the game |

Run adv for a while, stack some isk, run maybe even basic and only focus on your true role. For example. I am good at all roles but mostly slayer. I had a Amarr logi with combat rifle and smg, links and hives. All I focused on was killing. Only kill kill kill. Know the enemy weak spots. Improve your among and timing. Once you master that, try not to die and combine both, still running standard. Once you have mastered so, run proto and notice how God like you are. Just not to much or you'll end up like me with only 12million ISK (not enough)

I run standard a lot lately. I make money, don't care if I lose suits, helps me continually get better. Still wish TTK was longer, like before

I very rarely run proto since I usually get dropped (almost) as fast as lower tier suites, making it hardly worth the price point. I would recommend a good ADV fit, which is what I run most of the time.
I am terrible at slaying and will loose most 1vs1 (fair) fights, which is why I tend to do more support roles (Logi, hacker scout, uplinker etc). I especially like running around in the hills with a Caldari scout picking of snipers from behind
Try and think outside the box, especially when it comes to slaying. That is why I enjoy Dust so much: there are plenty of different ways to tackle a problem, most of which does not require you to be a master slayer. |
