Same maps usually runs fine then *BAM* random CQC frame rate drops.

Even more weird since it isn't every CQC fight either.

It doesn't seem to have anything do with any specific suit nor weapon.

I can't quantify any of it so it might just be my perception of things.

Does any one else get this as well?

 I get this too.

But I'm really not sure anymore why it happens... sometimes it seems like it happens when fighting certain players, sometimes it happens just like that. Have you noticed it happening when there's noone around? Because AFAIR it doesn't happen then.. but it might be just luck

Since the recent changes that were intended to improve FPS/lag, the Gallente Research Facility is still laggy as ever when it is Skirm with two points inside... Oddly, when that map is Skirm with three points inside it plays well for the most part...

Disappointingly, last night I was getting pretty bad lag on the Communications Outpost socket, this is the one that was swapped with the Gallenta Lag Facility socket in PC to eliminate lag... I never used to get lagged out on this map and i hope it was just a temporary condition...

Now when you say "random" I am not quite sure what you mean... For me, when a map begins to lag out it stays lagged out... It never improves, it only gets increasingly lagged over the course of that match... Sometimes the lag seems to follow me to the next battle in which case I reboot my console and network to resume playing...

In CQC, dropsuits load up their highest detailed models.

You see, games use a technique where the further away you are, the less detailed the object you're looking at is. This is also used on our dropsuits.

When you enter a CQC fight, you are loading up far more high quality models than usual, so the game chugs.

Yes. I find it happens less frequently when my display is set to 480p.

 This makes sense.

Not sure, I can have a few CQC fights just fine then the next one is like watching a PowerPoint presentation. And after that is goes back to be being fine and then it is time for an other PP presentation.

Random as in it doesn't happen every CQC fight, just in some of them.

Yes, I do see. But it doesn't happen in every CQC fight, just in some of them. It really is quite frustrating.
