If shield boosters actually worked more than half the time :/ Why has this bug not been addressed yet?
For those not in the know, shield boosters have a strong chance to be entirely negated by even a tiny bit of incoming damage. It doesn't shield against that amount of damage either, the damage simply stops the booster from working as the remainder of the damage comes through. It pretty much defeats the purpose of the module, and while you might say "oh well just activate it when you aren't under fire", it has a finicky delay where sometimes it takes multiple seconds just to start boosting. Plus, with AV how it is, you simply can't know exactly when you aren't just about to be hit. You can have a good idea, but you can never really know.
It would be nice if Shield boosters got a Boost, and for crying out loud give shield vehicles some more CPU :/

I remember the days when the sagaris would dominate the map like you wouldn't believe, but COD players complained that tanks were overpowered (of course they are they are tanks) and CCP nerfed tanks and simultaneously buffed anti vehicle weapons. The game definitely needs an overhaul concerning combat. |

Oh I'd love to drive a Passive Tanked Sagaris.
Damage Mods in Lows with Passive Resistance Plates in the Highs and around 6500 Shielding this beat would destroy and enemy tank faster than True Adamance making a pass at the Empress.

I believe its a bug that slipped trough from the old beta days. Back then shield boosters pulsed like 5~6 times for a lower amount of shields for each individual pulse. Nobody probs noticed if a single pulse didnt maked trough it. In my opinion we should get this back function back. Just devide whatever the current boosters give by like 5 and let the booster cycle 5 times.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

1:The thing is, two shotting everything wasn't fun, and therefore it (rails and damage mods) got nerfed. Rails were fine then, not sure why it got changed again in 1.7........
2: You Empress would take that **** as soon as she sees it. We all know she's hungry.

You do realize that they changed the function of the booster in 1.7, right?

I've come to the conclusion that vehicle play is just secondary to infantry play according to the effort made on it. Most of the infantry request/bugfix have been rolled out, while vehicle players must live with all kind of **** this game can bring. Just stating the facts:
- drop through map not fixed
- ram friendly vehicles not fixed
- mcru not fixed
- locks never implemented
- JLAV not sure if intended or not but clearly BS
