So I finally decided to get Ishukone Nova Knives. First match , Dom , got train map and decided to run around from behind the map and hack installations. I then saw a lonely proto Amarr Assault. Like a noob rushed him and he trigger-finger owned me. Good play on his part , made me pay for my mistake of not getting close enough. What I didn't like , was him unloading a full clip of Breach SMG on my dead body. Poor soul , must have had a hard day in his life and decided to evacuate all his it all on me Lol

I respawned and saw him climb the hills towards the tabletop.I got behind him and SLASH , dead Amarr Assault.
Not even 15 seconds later , I get the actual hatemail..

" Fuc* you Puss* ! " he said.
Was wondering , why ? I thought Nova Knifers were respected ?
Must have wanted me to run straight on at him like first time Roll

Made me laugh to the point i wondered if I could make him more angry.
After battle , I sent him a fresh mail , notifying him that I eat tears for breakfast.

" Nova Knifing coward , grow some balls can't stay a puss* all your life ".

I was done. Lol

Decided to leave him alone and cherish the memory of this funny moment. Smile

I tend to get mail from people on the enemy team telling me "good game". That's about as far as it goes. Oh wait! One time Killed Again sent me mail calling me an "LAV scrub" because I ran him over too many times.

A while back whilst on my CalScout, I came across a lone Proto Heavy guarding an objective. With my trusty ARR, I came within 10m of him and started firing and dancing away. It was a long lasting engagement because I remember even having to reload, but at the end, I came out the victor with about 30% of my shields intact. I was so puzzled as to why I barely took any damage that I immediately jumped on the "CalScout broken hit detection" bandwagon. The heavy sent me a message stating, "get bent bitch," and I felt I rightly deserved it because he really should have won. The magic of that "broken CalScout hit detection" incident still has me perplexed to this day.

Context: Aero was hopping around with this other Amarr scout and they had the same APEX "Dragon" fit. They'd been doing the "I'm sending you a Scouty Message" dance when this angry fellow flies out of nowhere and remotes the scout I was safeguarding. This happened to evoke a very awkward gasp-cry-squeal from me, that to this day I will deny that it even occurred, which resulted in my catching this guy mid air with a random blaster shot and sending his Myofibral Enhanced Dropsuit several dozen metres through the air. Hate-mail was some typical nonsense about me getting out of my HAV to fight properly since I have no skill. Another time I got hate mail because I shot a Sniper from the Cargo Hub across that narrow stretch of road on Line Harvest. Getting mad at someone for using a weapon put in the game, during an event promoting the use of that same weapon. Then the person continued to send me more rage after the match on alts lol. It was good times. All this over ONE death. Around the beginning of open beta, when I sniped I would get all kinds of hate mail. If you ever listened to chat on COD, you can pretty much guess the typical insult used lol. Guess they weren't happy seeing a sniper scout running around. How dare someone kill another player on the enemy team in a shooter game! I mean who does that lol? I don't always win 1v1, but when I don't...I cry for nerfs. Stay nerfing my friends.

Assaults -- Are at the top of the pile (where they should be) but have it too easy; many of them realize it. This is where the "optimizers" live at the moment; many of them know what they're talking about. Sentinels -- Should have our respect and ear; a number of them stepped up to put end to their own EZ Mode. Scouts -- Are at the bottom of the HP pile; whatever's OP hits them hardest. Many have a vested (and demonstrated) interest in balance and solid understanding of gameplay mechanics. Logistics -- Expense aside, are better off than they realiize; if not for Cross and a few others, they'd see themselves buffed to an OP state, albeit unknowingly, and their suits would quickly be commandeered by slayers. Tankers / ADS Pilots -- Only a handful are interested in balance; the rest are content to ROFLstomp. The "everything is fine" clamor from this community during and after 1.7 was meme-worthy. There are a few exceptions, but as a rule, no group has a higher derp content per capita than pilots. LAVers -- ... what is that? Commandos -- Are a pretty dang resilient group. Their suits have been UP since Day 1, and they're still out there. Perhaps of greater significance, you don't hear them asking for unreasonable buffs; their requests are usually reasonable and measured. Shoot scout with yes. - Ripley Riley
