Also, most of the mercs that stay don't fight at all?! I don't understand the not fighting bs! I just get in my bpo Dren heavy most matches, and just hold an area in cqc. You don't have to do it all to play! This bs super merc mentality is aggrevating?! You guys act like if you can't get 40 kills you don't wanna play?! This stems from the OP days of do-it-all fits. Scouts were OP, and could hack, slay, drop links, cloak, etc. This is a team game! Please! Run in squad! Especially if you're fairly new to dust! Diversify your squads! Bring everything to the fight within your squad. 2 guys with links, a scout, AV, heavy, and vehicle pilot, for example. In most matches now we're literally the only ones fighting, and most leave the match. Those who stay don't fight?! We only probably have 12 mercs to start with for whatever reason?! If you see my name on your roster know that I'm going to fight! I don't log on not to fight! In pubs I try to stay in bpos and cheap fits, but I still fight! If you're worried about your kd just know that it will get better over time. In the meantime fight the d*mn battle! "Anybody order chaos?"

There's no point in throwing my best gear at an objective in an attempt to carry a team who isn't trying when I know the payout will NEVER compensate me for my effort. My Plasma Cannon says "Hello" to your face~

Sometimes it's all those at the same time. Anyway don't try to understand those poor guys that get in a match to not play if you don't want headaches. Do what you can, keep playing as you do and sometimes you'll have the chance of playing with/against the 10% of this community that are here to play.

I just wish the 10% was more like 90% like back when I first started playing. Back then you could play all day, and every match would be intense as hell! "Anybody order chaos?"

I type one worders like links, fight back, tank, AV needed, etc. They don't listen or respond?! I got it that they may not have the gear, but atleast have a plan! "Anybody order chaos?"

It seems a lot of the cool players left. I still can't believe they didn't apologize at Fanfest for last year's Fanfest. Just kicked the game in the nuts. I love the KD savers because what they don't realize is that, "No one cares!" We also don't care how much isk you have. You want to impress me, then strap on a pair and show me some smooth moves. Not a number you pad. My coolest moment in this game was downing an ADS from a gunner seat of a DS that was headed down and the pilot had already bailed, then I survived the crash. That impresses me. Do that! I saw a merc falling from a DS pop off a perfect MD shot onto a platform for 4 kills before dampening. Again, impressive. No one cares if you are an awesome accountant when you play. We want to see some awesome death. Make it so! From Logi, to Heavy, to Scout, now I am moving to ADS. Please stop balancing!

I don't have too much of a problem with proto users, because it's so enjoyable to kill them in my 10K isk standard fits. People who heavily run BPOs (having a few here and there is no problem) take away the most important part of the game: the risk/reward factor. And that is why I don't always stand and fight in battle- by not standing and fighting, I mean staying in the battle, but not fighting a clearly stronger threat head-on. If I can help it, I save my suit by getting the **** out of that immediate area, then finding another way to support my team. Usually by hacking or placing an uplink that helps deal with the new threat. If you heavily use BPOs, you take that risk away and play like it's any other shooter, which Dust sure as hell isn't. Some details can be ignored

If the team is broken, I'd wait 20 seconds to hit the ground with 8-10 other mercs so we could at least hit the objective in a group. The lack of communication across the team is a huge issue, and look at how effective well-led squads can be... The potential is there. There are 4 game modes and all of them have an objective and all of them are limited to 16 v 16. If a majority of the players are not bothering with the objectives of the game mode then something is wrong. Can we get past this sandbox, I can be a scrub if I want to mentality please? If you want to be able to log in to play Dust it's time to put this one to bed and come up with solutions to get people playing the objectives. Thor's Emporium

The scrubs will say, haha now that there's matchmaking you are garbage, etc. But the simple fact of the matter is that these are veteran players we are matched up with and against and they simply refuse to fight after the first sign of trouble. And let's not even mention how impossible it is for all the slayers playing each other to tend to drive the slighttly worse slayers' KDR down, especially those that don't have, um, support.
