One time I played a very close, competitive match where both teams pushed the objective all game.

Just kidding about that last post :P
A really cool moment that comes to mind for me is in one of the first battles in the AE OH war way back when...
I piloted a dropship with Myself, Usuckatdust Vagheitan, Namob Boman, and Skeez Skeezington to enemy homepoint. We were only meant to serve as a distraction so our team could get a foothold in the city; fight there as long as we could and then respawn to the city.
I was skimming the ground in the DS as to avoid their rail tanks seeing us, and because there was no high ground at their HP. I was racing along the ground with burners on when we took a rail tank blast from somewhere. The DS rocked to the side, and I barely climbed above a hilltop to my right, and as I climbed over the peak, a second rail blast struck right beneath us, barely missing. Luckily the objective was right behind the hill.
I landed the ship and ran to the point. Myself and Skeez hacked while Dust and Boman watched our backs. Once hacked, the four of us formed a loose line and waited. An enemy I didn't see fired a few bursts at me with a burst AR, as I was turning to face him, Boman melted his face with one fully charged ScR shot.
They never stopped coming, waves of them like lambs to the slaughter. Boman and Dust fought like madmen trying to one-up each other, and Skeez keeping core reps on all of us. I got a few kills myself, but tons of assists. Dust depleted 2 Ishukone hives of mine by himself as his Kal RR basically never stopped firing.
There were some close calls when we were getting swarmed but those two slayers lived up to their reputations. The highlight was when their Python came from the city to try and help deal with us and I managed to take it out with AV grenades. Two grenades took out it's shields and when it tried to fly away it slammed into the side of a pillar.
They pushed all game, but the four of us held the point until we won. The squad that was never meant to hold the objective held it all game.
Who cares what some sniper has to say.
