I think if the MCC can be shot and damaged. That the Turrets you need to capture at the end of the match can be destroyed as well.
I think it a little unbalanced if the defenders can damage the MCC, but the attackers can't flat out destroy the turrets as an alternative.

Turrets are relativly soft targets compared to a MCC whats to stop people insta wining the match be taking out each turret on the map, |

I noticed that these turrets do have shield and armor bars, so I am guessing that they can indeed be damaged. I then tried to damage it with a militia LAV missile turret, a large blaster turret, and a militia swarm launcher.
I was too far away with the large blaster turret to see if I was doing any damage but with the LAV missile turret and swarm launcher I was close enough but not able to do anywhere near enough damage to drop their shields. What I saw in my other testing is that I didn't get points for doing damage to turrets until they took armor damage.
I suspect that I would have had better luck if I had used a large railgun turret or a large missile turret.
I should also point out that during the next match I tried the same three weapons against the MCC itself and I was getting points for damaging the MCC. I thought it was interesting that I got points for damaging the MCC even when it was at 50% shields.

You'd be surprised I noticed yesterday people taking advantage of this after figuring it out. the MCC started to go down hard. I was even firing away at the MCC to take out the shield for relay point A blew up. manage to do it. I've had other games where the MCC just got tore up before it could even make it even over the outpost and it wasn't like the turrets were constantly up.

i think the way the mcc works in the first place is fail if its getting shot at and the ground force is apperently getting no were y would you keep flying at the turrets and the slowest speed you can lol
whats wroung with letting the mcc remain on 1 side as the attackers mobile base and the defenders kill or force the mcc to retreat from were ever its parked
then controll the game time with clone and equipment limmets rather then a bot miner for a mcc pilot lol |

Well you can destroy the regular turrets with a tank pretty easily, but the final 3 can't be destroyed. I used a drop ship to get right next to one and tried various weapons. I didn't see the shield budge at all.
but yes, the command ship should be smart enough to slow down when being fired on to heavily. |

I dont know about the new build as ive only played a few games on the new map, but on the old build, if point A and B didnt go down, the MCC retreated, and flew away. So in a sense you did have to move quicker, but i can see what you mean with the turrets. I suppose its a case of all or nothing when they get that close, they cant move quick so theres no point turnin around when your still gonna get shot down at a slow speed. |

it doesn't matter, the defenders can't win anyway.
