CCP FIX THE MATCH MAKING ASAP! I am so sick of 5-10 against 10-16 and then half of one sides leaves. dom, ambush and your new mode is messed up due to your MATCH MAKING. play skim and get proto stomping full squad/ against 5 single man squads and the rest in no squad. |

who said I was leaving battles. I said half of 1 sides leaves due to being down or up by 3-6 guys. I don't blame guys leaving if your side is up by 5 guys. however if your down by 2 stay and fight it out. in a 8 against 11 my side won so you can win if your willing to fight for it. but it would stop a lot of leaving battles if the match making was fixed so it is 16 on 16. |

I have a lot of matches with miss matches in the teams, 7v12 etc, but probably just as many as used to be utter stomps. So I guess no difference overall.
It does make me sad that now we have matchmaking its rare to get a full match.
Weirdly I have more fun when theres only 1-3 of us against 12-16 than 8 against 12. You know there's no chance of a win but its fun to try to go positive taking out as much proto as possible.
I've noticed people bringing out the proto gear when they realise they are against small numbers - I guess the opportunity to farm some kills. Says it all really. |

It's taking ages to get matches, especially Ambush (only managed one all night and was disconnected during, currently at a good 10 minutes in the queue!). Doms have all been severely short-handed and Skirms have all been 6-man stomp squads vs randoms again. Guess people are only playing the new mode.

This is extremely difficult when a squad member doesn't get in a match due human error or Scotty just bein a total clown.
From my personal experiences, this has been happening more frequently in the past few days.

Had a battle when we were absolutely stomping the enemy team. I figured we must be outnumbering them or something, so I checked the player list.
Turns out they actually had 3 more people than us, and we were still mopping the floor with them.
Some details can be ignored

I'm really not a fan of the new matchmaking, it not making games more even, it's keeping games from filling and it's addiing wait times. It's just making this game more boring overall.

Not only that there been players who leave at the sight at someone they don't want to fight thus their Mu scores which they consider precious are continuing to jack their rankings every-time they don't play.
Yes there are things we can do on our end to fix the situation such as lowering squad sizes to not cause so much as many scotty issues; increasing map selection variety logic so players paying one type of game mode shouldn't constantly have the same map over and over again and improving the logic to fill in missing spots in a game earlier in the match.
Either way most of it is out of my control and nothign more I can do with it; Its all on CCP to fix.

Considering I get 9v15 matches before anyone even spawns? If so, is it a full squad that all have SSDs that leave before anyone even loads in? |

Had a match that was just 6 v 6, the killfeed was spamed with people joining and leaving battle the whole match. 
(It was also a smooth battle framerate wise, didn't know dust can move so fast in the gal facility  )

Don't reply to IWS. He is just trolling you.
They have just updated the Matchmaking. Sad but true. Hopefully they are gathering data but the blog I read didn't leave me with good fuzzy feelings regarding them making the correct decision. They are making some decisions, that is an improvement compared to our past experience.
A comment on your particular issue is getting full matches is the problem. Not the matchmaking per se. Try to adjust your playing time to match (sorry) when others in your time zone or friends play. Just a thought, I have friends in the US and UK. They often require different times to play with.

No, the opposite is the better course. More people should leave badly matched battles. Staying in badly matched battles conceals from CCP just how poorly the matchmaking is functioning.
